Metroid Cocoon

From Metroid Wiki
A Metroid Cocoon in Echoes

Metroid Cocoons are organic structures that the Space Pirates used to transport Metroids. They seemed to have been designed[1] and not naturally occurred. These organic structures contain numberous Metroids, and they will attempt to break free if they sense Phazon near. If Samus approaches a cocoon, the Tallon Metroids within will break out and attack her.
