NARPAS SWORD
NARPAS SWORD is a code used in the original Metroid for invincibility and unlimited missiles. If a player enters the code in all caps, followed by zeroes, they will be at the beginning of the game with all upgrades, invincibility and unlimited missiles. Samus's energy will not go below 30. Missiles can be used even when there is not a counter. All upgrades can be collected, but Samus can already use them. Normally, the player can not die, but can still force game over by pressing Up + A on Player 2's controller while the game is paused. This will make the game generate a normal password which does not provide infinite life and missiles. If a player beats the game while using the code, they will restart the game with Zero Suit Samus, with the same effects. This is the only cheat code ever programmed into a Metroid game.
