Pirate Cargo Drones are harmless, slow floating mechanisms designed by the Space Pirates with the simple task of transporting cargo short distances. These machines are found by Samus hovering around Landing Sites in Metroid Prime 3: Corruption's Pirate Homeworld. They are meant to carry substances too dangerous for Space Pirates to handle. One shot from any of Samus's weapons can destroy these simple enemies, since they are meant to carry cargo and are not built to take structural damage.

Logbook[edit | edit source]

Logbook entry from Metroid Prime 3: Corruption: Pirate Cargo Drone
Pirate Cargo Drones were designed to assist with the transporting of supplies throughout the Pirate Homeworld. Their aerial capabilities allow them to navigate the underground catacombs with relative ease. Cargo often consists of items too dangerous or volatile to be moved by hand.[1]
