Sanctuary Fortress Main Theme

The Power Junction is a room in the Sanctuary Fortress from Metroid Prime 2: Echoes.

Another long narrow corridor with a few turns, this room houses a local energy control grid, but is locked down to prevent anyone from accessing it with the proper know-how. On Samus' first visit, Octopedes are encountered in the corridor. On her next visit, Phazon presence in Sanctuary Fortress is hinted at when she encounters particles of it. On later visits, 4 Diligence Class Drones are encountered here.

There is a Blast Shield on the door blocking access. Analysis indicates that the Blast Shield is invulnerable to most weapons. Light energy may damage it.[2]
