The Shock Coil is an experimental weapon created by the Galactic Federation and stolen by Sylux. The Shock Coil is a thin, blue beam of electricity that is only effective at close range. Once the Shock Coil is locked on for a short time the damage dealt is increased. Only Sylux can use the Shock Coil's true power, he can use the Shock Coil to steal energy from his opponents to restore his own health. The Shock Coil has only appeared in Metroid Prime Hunters so far. Samus obtains the Shock Coil at the Celestial Archives. This weapon uses the Universal Ammo.
