Super Smash Bros. is a fighting game released on the Nintendo 64 in 1999. The game consists of 3-D graphics when fighting on a 2-D field. The game's character roster consists of popular heroes from the Nintendo gaming company. The game was successful and two sequels were made, Super Smash Bros. Melee and Super Smash Bros. Brawl.

Metroid References

Samus Aran makes an appearance in the game. Her weapons from the Metroid series that appear are her Power Beam, Charge Beam, Bombs, and Flamethrower. A stage called Planet Zebes appears, with Ridley and Wavers both appearing in the background.
