Merge[edit source]

Wow......really? - ZeldaMan (PostboxStatus) 23:55, 20 June 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Wow Really what? haha --Malake256 {Talk | Contribs} 00:02, 21 June 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]

yeah what the heck are you talking about zelda? Whats so shocking about the page? -thebestmetroidfan

As in we're keeping Sheegoth and Baby Sheegoth separate? Something about that just seems.....stupid. - ZeldaMan (PostboxStatus) 02:58, 21 June 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]
well, baby sheegoths are seen throughout Phendrana Drifts, not just when you fight the Sheegoth. Sheegoth is the huge boss with spikes on its back and baby sheegoths are the smaller ones with a smooth shell. They are two different creatures, so I'd say they need an article for each. That's like saying Infant Metroids and Omega Metroids don't deserve their own articles. --Malake256 {Talk | Contribs} 04:03, 21 June 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Actually, Sheegoths are just as common as the infants. After you defeat the boss, they turn into a normal enemy. A rather easy one, indeed. - ZeldaMan (PostboxStatus) 04:09, 21 June 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]

no they are not, they are different zelda, I know sheegoths are common but not as common as baby sheegoths, and sheegots are much more powerfull, even with the plasma beam, baby sheegots die in one charge shot, there parents take about 3 or 4 hits, I never actually counted, but also malake makes a very good point with his whole metroid omega metroid thing, all we're saying is that they should stay seperate because they have different abilities, apperences, and strength. So basicly, they don't belong on the same page. -thebestmetroidfan

What I'm saying is that they're the EXACT SAME THING, just different age. - ZeldaMan (PostboxStatus) 04:51, 21 June 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]

but they have different abilities, besides there parents are stronger, and they have crystals on there back that obsorb all but plasma energy. So the baby sheegoth evolves and changes into something much different from the baby, also like malake said, an omega metroid is an older metroid, yet people don't group it with the metroid, because they both have DIFFERENT PROPERTIES! same with the baby sheegoth and the adult sheegoth, same species, different properties, I say we don't merge the pages and leave things as they are. -thebestmetroidfan

I disagree. They should share a page. Since I've defeated the boss Sheegoth, I have not seen one baby Sheegoth. The Skull 18:38, 4 July 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Go back to where you first entered Phendrana Drifts, there should be two or three Baby Sheegoths there just chilaxin in the snow. --Malake256 {Talk | Contribs} 18:40, 4 July 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Merge.....again.[edit source]

Support Vote.png Support

  1. Seriously....? The two are the exact same thing. And, if one is to bring up like "oh, we don't merge different types of Metroids," then that's just sad. It's just a Sheegoth. This is like separating the gunships by each appearance....it's stupid.ZeldaMan (PostboxStatus) 03:08, 5 November 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Oppose Vote.png Opposition

  1. This again... They deserve their own article, I don't see you putting the merge thing on the Mystery Creature and Ridley articles, they are the same thing just different ages. What about all of the articles about Metroids? Same thing different age. MKMetroid mf Sprite.gif 19:57, 5 November 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]
  2. I say nay, since it's sorta like Mario to Baby Mario. Both the same, yet of different ages, making it soo confusing that you have no choice but to leave em separate. :D ***Super!~Nickno 21:44, 5 November 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]
  3. The fact that an adult Sheegoth appears as a boss in itself warrants its own page, imho. They have different log entries, their fighting styles are different. That "same thing different age/type" argument doesn't always work... just look at all the different pirate pages! Embyr 75 22:30, 5 November 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]
  4. Cool, we finally put support and oppose to use! But yeah oppose. A baby Sheegoth and a Sheegoth are two different creatures. And I do think gunships should be separated, hell I was thinking on making a page on the Gunship's interior, since it is important. I would say more but looks like ^these guys got it covered --Malake256 {Talk | Contribs} 00:29, 6 November 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]
  5. Only should be merged if they share the exact same scan name and scan data in Prime. I don't remember if they do, but I am guessing and putting this in opposition because it would be dumb if Sheegoth and Baby Sheegoth were together as one is completely different from the other. Obscure 02:41, 6 November 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]
They do not. Baby Sheegoth v Sheegoth, it's on their pages I believe --Malake256 {Talk | Contribs} 02:54, 6 November 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Wait, then why is this argument even happening? They're different enemies, and get different pages! This is dumb. Obscure 02:58, 6 November 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Because TheSuperZeldaMan thinks that things of the same species (or should I say unimportant things of the same species) should go on the same page. MKMetroid mf Sprite.gif 03:01, 6 November 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Lol, but yeah, best to get this out of the way to show a consensus though --Malake256 {Talk | Contribs} 03:04, 6 November 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]
It's been a week, vote was 5 to 1 so I'm removing the request for merging. MKMetroid mf Sprite.gif 01:21, 13 November 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]
