Aurora Unit 242
Aurora Unit 242, or AU242, is the Aurora Unit aboard the Federation G.F.S. Olympus. It will often guide Samus throughout the course of Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. 242 has a female voice, suggesting that the Aurora Unit is a female itself. This Aurora Unit is only seen in front of Samus once in the beginning of the game, although a hologram of Aurora Unit 242 is shown on Samus' gunship every time it instructs her toward a new objective. It is the first Aurora Unit to recieve the vaccine against Phazon corruption. [citation needed]
