Crawlmines are Space Pirate machines resembling smaller versions of Crawltanks. They only appear in the G.F.S. Olympus and some parts of the Pirate Homeworld. They only cause minimal damage when they come in contact with Samus in a suicide strike,[1] however they travel in large packs earning strength in numbers. They are designed to patrol small areas such as ventilation shafts and maintenance tunnels.[1]

Logbook[edit | edit source]

Logbook entry from Metroid Prime 3: Corruption: Crawlmine
Crawlmines are not terribly bright and rely on suicide strikes as their main form of attack. They were designed to patrol small areas such as ventilation shafts and maintenance tunnels. Though relatively harmless alone, they can be dangerous in large numbers.[1]
