Glitches in Metroid Prime Hunters

From Metroid Wiki

These are the glitches which are possible to perform in Metroid Prime Hunters. Please read the Glitch Disclaimer Notes before attempting any of the glitches on this page.

Main Glitches[edit | edit source]

Out of Bounds Glitch[edit | edit source]

  • Effect: Allows Samus to leave the boundary of the stage, leaving you invincible and invisible to anyone still in the stage.
  • Prerequisites: Have the Missiles.
  • How to: At very particular corners of certain multiplayer stages, such as Combat Hall and face away from it. Aim a charged Missile shot at the ground in front of you. Let it go and you should be pushed in. There is a very good chance that you will not land on solid ground once out of bounds, thus killing you. However, if you manage to double jump immediately and fire your beam into the void, your beam may collide with some surface you can stand on. Most stages will have a rectangle drawn around the perimeter of the stage that you can stand on.

Missile Push Glitch[edit | edit source]

  • Effect: Allows Samus to enter some Morph Ball tunnels.
  • Prerequisites: Have the Missiles.
  • How to: Go to a Morph Ball tunnel with a slightly wider-than-usual opening (there are a number of these) and face away from it. Aim a charged Missile shot at the ground in front of you. Let it go and you should be pushed in.
  • Notes: It is very easy to get stuck inside, but it is fun to run around in a small tunnel.

Shadow Freeze[edit | edit source]

  • Effect: Freezes an opponent from any range without a direct hit.
  • Prerequisites: Use Noxus in Multiplayer
  • How to: Charge Noxus's Judicator while aiming down on the enemy. Fire the beam anywhere, it should freeze the target regardless of the distance from the enemy and what the beam actually hit (even the ground or any surface should do).
  • Notes: The Shadow Freeze works because the charged Judicator's hitbox shoots a wall with infinite height. Shooting downwards makes the wall of infinite upward-height become more like a floor with infinite forward-length. You can also Shadow Freeze by aiming 45 degrees below horizontal to freeze a target standing 45 degrees above the horizontal. This will work in any direction as long as you are able to shoot 90 degrees below your intended target.
