Torvus Bog

Hydlings are small aquatic creatures found in Torvus Bog. Their only method of defense is a small but potent bite, but they will not attack Samus unless she gets too close.[1]

Their size make Hydlings easy prey in the predator-infested Torvus Bog, so they travel in packs for safety while searching for meals. Hydlings are no match for Samus's arsenal, however, and are easily destroyed by any of her weapons. This makes a pack of Hydlings a decent source of ammunition and health.

Logbook[edit | edit source]

Logbook entry from Metroid Prime 2: Echoes: Hydling
Hydlings are small water dwellers. They travel in packs for safety, roaming the water in search of bits of food. Their only defense is a bite, though their small teeth are sharp enough to pierce metal.[1]
