Korba are large creatures that seem to spend their entire life embedded in the ceiling of large caverns. They have a symbiotic relationship with the Snatchers. The Snatchers will latch on to prey, and then will inflate, bringing the prey to the Korba. It will spit out what it can not digest, much like Stone Toads. Samus mainly encounters these creature in Morph Ball tunnels of Bryyo.

Logbook[edit | edit source]

First Location: Bryyo Cliffside - Hillside Vista
The Korba is a vicious, resilient bioform. It prefers to lurk above its hunting grounds, waiting for prey. The Korba relies on the smaller Snatchers to levitate victims to a point where the Korba can devour them. What the Korba cannot digest, it expels to feed the Snatchers. This symbiotic relationship works well for both Korba and Snatchers.[1]
