The Kralee is a phasing creature found in Agon Wastes from Metroid Prime 2: Echoes. It gathers energy into a crystal on its back to briefly phase. The Kralee is not aggressive and will only attack if something is directly in its path. Like other creatures capable of phasing, Samus can target Kralee at any time with the Dark Visor.

There is another species of Kralee called Green Kralee, these are similar in most ways, however creatures in this species lack the ability to phase.

Logbook[edit | edit source]

Logbook entry from Metroid Prime 2: Echoes: Kralee
First Location: Agon Wastes - Mining Station B
The Kralee phases between dimensions as a defense mechanism. A crystal in its carapace gathers energy to fuel the creation of a warp portal. The process is uncontrollable, keeping the Kralee in constant dimensional flux.[1]
Kralee
First Location: Temple Grounds - Agon Transport Access Limited Scan
Dimensional warping bioform. Able to phase out of local timespace. Target creature before it warps to damage it.[2]

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • In the Metroid Prime 2: Echoes Bonus Disc, there is a single Kralee in the Temple Grounds. Unlike other Kralee, it does not phase, behaving more like a Green Kralee.
