Appearance and Navigation[edit | edit source]

The room is essentially a large circular Morph Ball tunnel. The main section of the tunnel has five Pillbugs moving around rectangular structures. This main section connects both of the doors. There is an upper tunnel that can be accessed using three Morph Ball Bombs near the door to the Temple. This upper tunnel has a number of blocks made of sand. These blocks will collapse when Samus passes over them, so she must move quickly to avoid falling to the main tunnel. The tunnel goes past a number of these blocks, and also goes through an area obscured from view by rock. The end of the side tunnel has an Energy Tank.

Upgrades[edit | edit source]

Energy Tank[edit | edit source]

Requires: Morph Ball Bombs (or Spring Ball, Trilogy only)

  • Towards the top of the room, Samus needs to jump up to the highest possible tunnel, then roll left over a collapsible sand block until she reaches a stack of four more sand blocks. Continuing left after crushing three blocks and one in the leftern stack of two, she must jump up a set of stair-like rock formations until she finds four more blocks. Rolling left after destroying three once again, Samus will discover a hidden tunnel. Rather then rolling over to the next block, she must jump up to hidden ledge and follow a stack of stairs again until she reaches another sand block. Just underneath this, to the left, is the Energy Tank upgrade.
