A Missile Door Lock is a Blast Shield found throughout the regions of Tallon IV that is unlocked with the shot of a Missile. Missile Door Locks are very limited in number, and they are found in all areas of Tallon IV except the Phazon Mines. It appears as a regular Blue Door with an octagonal and triangular shield lock.

They are similar to the Red Blast Shields found in Echoes and Corruption and other Blast Shields discovered throughout the Metroid series that are unlocked with Missiles.

There is a Blast Shield on the door blocking access. Analysis indicates that the Blast Shield is invulnerable to Beam weapons. Explosive weapons may damage it.
