This article claims that Darkling Tentacles are a kind of Ing, but by definition isn't a Darkling a symbiotically possessed creature? If that's the case, shouldn't Darkling Tentacles be categorized on the navigation template under Darklings, not Ing? —Embyr 75 --Talk-- 16:28, 6 April 2011 (EDT)
- Going to bump this now. The Logbook classifies them as an Ing entity, not a Darkling. This means that they aren't possessed Tentacles, but are dark Ing in the form of Tentacles. Since they aren't a Darkling like the rest are, we can't really classify them as Darklings, despite the name's obvious implications, and the fact that the Logbook refers to them as "darklings"; this is a broader usage of the term rather than the specific term used to designate Ing-possessed Aetherian creatures. - This was a tough one to decide on, but I believe we should have them as Ing in spite of them being also called Darklings (seems Retro couldn't keep their story straight). MK 17:39, 2 January 2012 (UTC)
