Both Metroid.jp and www.Metroid.jp are now both the Other M site. Edit Oops, wrong site. I've changed them

The Date has been changed to August something or other. Not sure when, but check MHQ, I don't want to be wrong, so how bout someone double checks. Malake256 02:36, 1 May 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]

While the official sites haven't been updated, both a press release and a tweet by Nintendo of America have confirmed that it is delayed till August 31. Triforce (T C) 04:16, 1 May 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Toys-r-us is saying the game comes out on June the 27th...--ChaosChao 22:30, 21 June 2010 (UTC)
I trust the official sites and Nintendo at E3 more than Toys-R-Us. Triforce (T C) 22:33, 21 June 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]
It used to be, but it was pushed back. besides this I'd say has priority above everything. --Malake256 {Talk | Contribs} 22:39, 21 June 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Boss Names[edit source]

The Prima Strategy Guide for this game includes the names for all the bosses.

  • "Purple Beetle Monster" = Brug Mass
  • "Worms" = Fune and Namihe (enemies from Super Metroid and Metroid Fusion)
  • "War Wasp Hive" = King Kihunter
  • "Purple Lizard" = Mystery Creature (technically an adolescent form of Ridley)
  • "Lava Dragon" = Goyagma
  • "Industrial Machine" = RB176 Ferrocrusher
  • "Lava Whale" = Vorash

Should we begin the process of renaming the articles appropriately? PeanutLord 00:40, 11 September 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Yeah, I'll start moving the articles. Thanks for finding the names. MKMetroid mf Sprite.gif 00:48, 11 September 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Would you happen to know the pages the names were taken from so I can reference them? MKMetroid mf Sprite.gif 00:52, 11 September 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Isn't that Industrial Machine, Nightmare from Metroid Fusion? --Robin Aran (talk) 14:34, 4 October 2013 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Nope, Nightmare is Nightmare :). The RB176 Ferrocrusher is the "Industrial Machine"... and ripoff of the exo suits from Aliens. MKMetroid mf Sprite.gif 15:39, 5 October 2013 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Baby's Cry[edit source]

If anyone's ever seen Firefly, the first episode has something similar to Baby's Cry, anyone know if there's a further back instance that this may be a reference to? --Malake256 {Talk | Contribs} 22:18, 2 May 2012 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Oh yeeeeeeeeah. I had forgotten that. I'm not sure if it's a reference to anything, though, or just a clever name for the device. Embyr 75  --Talk-- 22:52, 2 May 2012 (UTC)Reply[reply]
