Question, this timeline is REALLY AWESOME, but I've been looking all over the internet for a timeline like this, and . . . how did you learn the dates? --Arkatox 00:18, 11 September 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Some of the dates are likely extrapolated from manuals, magna, and sources in the games. Others... We're not too sure about, which is why there is a request for sources on the page. MKMetroid mf Sprite.gif 00:08, 11 September 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Hey thanks. I'm writing a Metroid fanfic, so that's why I was curious (if you were wondering). --Arkatox 00:18, 11 September 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Removal of the Timeline

This timeline cites very little and a good portion of it is conjecture. It's been bugging me for a while, I aim that we get rid of this and make it basically an overview of the series like it should be. MKMetroid mf Sprite.gif 02:47, 18 July 2013 (UTC)Reply[reply]

It's always bugged me too, at the same time I think having a timeline would be fantastic. I think such a timeline would need its own page anyways. I always thought it would be cool if we could fix this timeline, but we really would have to start over from scratch. Delete away, I say! --Malake256 {Talk | Contribs} 03:08, 18 July 2013 (UTC)Reply[reply]
I'm thinking organize it by date of release, more focusing on the technical details and less about the story. Opinions? MKMetroid mf Sprite.gif 03:49, 18 July 2013 (UTC)Reply[reply]
That's better than what's there now. I think somewhere in the wiki we should outline the main story, basically every game that doesn't say Prime in it (sadly). --Malake256 {Talk | Contribs} 04:14, 18 July 2013 (UTC)Reply[reply]
I believe that's done on the Samus article. MKMetroid mf Sprite.gif 04:16, 18 July 2013 (UTC)Reply[reply]
