According to Kotaku's interview with Tanabe, this game takes place between Metroid II and Super Metroid and at the same time as the Prime trilogy, but the Prime trilogy takes place between Zero Mission and Metroid II. I'm assuming the interview is incorrect, but just thought I'd mention the difference here, for now, until there's more clarification. —Embyr 75 --Talk-- 19:53, 21 July 2015 (UTC)

I know no one wants to talk (write) about this, but someone has to edit the article as it is still in a pre-release phase. The game has been out for quite sometime, and I hope we can finish this.
