Hello, Twentytwofiftyseven, and welcome to Metroid Wiki! We're glad to have you here, and we hope you'll stay and contribute. Make sure you check out our help guides so you can learn the ropes and policies. Make sure you also check out the Discussion Center, our community hub page where you can talk with other editors. Most importantly, enjoy your time at Metroid Wiki. - The Metroid Wiki Staff

Hey, just wanted to say I really appreciate your support and contributions to Metroid Wiki. Keep up the good work! That comparative sheet of the translations for Metroid Prime is fricken sweet. Hopefully we can find some more metroid fans at the other wiki's in the NIWA. Nathanial Rumphol-Janc 10:00, 15 February 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Autopatrol

As Nate said above, great job with all of your edits and contributions. With that, we've decided to promote you to autopatrol, so congrats on being the first at MW. Let us know if you're interested at all at helping with patrolling. -Melchizedek  talk 00:29, 20 February 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Okay, firstly to let you know, here at Metroid Wiki we keep user talk conversations on the same page, instead of going between userpages like forum PMs. It's just so everything's easy to find and together in the same place.
As for patroller, I've promoted you. I take it you're familiar with how patrolling (rollback, revision differences, marking as patrolled etc: ) is done. If not, or you need any help, just let me know. We're thankful for your help, because we've got quite a backlog building up. -Melchizedek  talk 03:10, 20 February 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Awesome, you're doing a great job patrolling. It's great for me, when I come online, not to have to worry about patrolling so I can focus on extentions and so forth. Thanks again. :) -Melchizedek  talk 05:59, 21 February 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Just letting you know that when you patrol a message someone has posted on a talk page, either respond to that message afterwards, or alert somebody that can answer it or address the point to take a look. It's whoever patrols the edit's responsibility to answer it. Because if the edit is marked as patrolled, then chances are others, like myself, may not look at it. In this instance, I did notice these two: Template talk:News and Metroid Wiki:Discussion Center#Now,I have a question , but that won't always happen, and we don't want talk page messages going unanswered. :) -Melchizedek  talk 20:49, 24 February 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Also, responding to messages people leave on your talk page is considered a common courtesy that patrollers and staff should adhere too. ;) -Melchizedek  talk 05:13, 3 March 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Okay. To be honest, I couldn't think of anything worth saying. 2257(t) 06:45, 3 March 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]
That's alright, just wanted to make sure you weren't one of those people who never respond, when even a simple 'okay' would suffice. It's just so I know that you've taken what was said onboard. :) -Melchizedek  talk 20:17, 3 March 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]

?????

OMP, hi 2257. You'll never guess who I am, ahaha ahahaha aha ha *cough* *cough* aaaahahahahaha etc. - A mysterious stranger

Patrolling

Hey 2257. As you know, when the wiki was founded we needed some help with patrolling, and so, you were promoted to patrol. Recently there has been a reorganization of the Metroid Wiki staff, and due to your inactivity and overall lack of knowledge of recent Metroid Wiki happenings, I have removed your patrolling rights. When and if you return to editing and if you wish to help out as part of the Metroid Wiki Staff, there is now a formal application process to go through. If you are interested, please contact me on my talk page. -Melchizedek  talk 10:13, 28 June 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Alright. I don't think I'll apply because I don't really have enough time right now to make myself particularly useful to this wiki. I'll definitely consider it should that change, however. 2257(t) 09:02, 12 July 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]
That's fine. Just let me know if you're ever interested in helping out. We appreciate the little bit of patrolling that you did manage to do. :) -Melchizedek  talk 11:35, 14 July 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]
