Dark Temple Keys are required to enter the temples in Dark Agon, Dark Torvus, and the Ing Hive. There are three in each area that Samus must collect.

Trivia

• The collection sound for Dark Temple and Sky Temple keys differ by version, the original Prime 2 uses a shortened rendition of the Luminoth theme, while the Trilogy version uses a new sound to represent key collection.
