Egenoid Star Marines

The Egenoid Star Marines were a military force mentioned in a scan in Metroid Prime in the Phazon Mines. They do seem to be the original owners of all Plasma Artillery Cannons seen in the game. It is unknown if they had any ties with the Galactic Federation. It is also unknown who they work for, although a fan theory states that they work for the Exelion Star Corporation, the company who created the E.M.M.I.
