Energy Parts are expansions found in Metroid: Other M and Metroid Dread. If Samus collects four, it will create an Energy Tank. In Other M, there are 16 in all, adding up to four Tanks to Samus's energy.

Locations[edit | edit source]

Location Items needed Notes
Main Sector No items are needed Samus must head to the bottom of the elevator shaft leading to the middle of the Main Sector, then climb up several platforms around the shaft. At the top lies the Energy Part.
Main Sector Samus must defeat all enemies surrounding a tall spire in a residential area of the Main Sector. She must then use her Speed Booster to run around the spire, then Shinespark up to the ceiling, where she can Space Jump to the Energy Part.
Sector 1 No items are needed Soon after defeating the King Kihunter, Samus must bomb a grate with her Morph Ball Bombs, granting access to the Energy Part.
Sector 1 Samus must travel to the north of the arbor chamber, then use her Grapple Beam to scale a large cliff. She must then jump off the cliff and use her Space Jump to reach a ledge. She must break open a crate there to obtain the Energy Part.
Sector 1 Power Bombs Samus must travel to the Subterranean Control Room, then arouse a Desbrachian with her Power Bombs. Defeating the creature grants access to the room with the Energy Part.
Sector 1 Grapple Beam or Space Jump Samus must travel to the desert area where the Dragotix resides. From there, she must either use her Grapple Beam to swing across to the Energy Part, or climb to the top of the room and Space Jump across to the Energy Part.
Sector 1 Space Jump Samus must travel to the room where she first encounters a Gronanch, then use her Space Jump from a ledge in the northwestern corner to another ledge. From there, she must use her Charge Beam to activate a switch, moving platforms out. She must then quickly Space Jump across to where the Energy Part awaits.
Sector 2 No items are needed Samus must travel to a tunnel with several Geemers in containment tubes. Then she must drop to the floor and bomb a grate, revealing the Energy Part.
Sector 2 Power Bombs Samus must travel to a room in the southern region of the sector, then lay a Power Bomb near a Power Bomb Blast Shield. This awakens a Desbrachian that Samus must defeat. Defeating the monster grants access to the Energy Part.
Sector 2 No items are needed After defeating the boss located in the Materials Storehouse, Samus must circle around and reenter the room, where the Energy Part awaits.
Sector 2 Power Bombs Samus must head to a room with liquid held in coolant tanks, then use her Power Bombs to arouse a Desbrachian. Defeating the Desbrachian grants access to the Energy Part.
Sector 3 No items are needed The Energy Part is accessible soon after Samus first encounters Vorash. Samus must find a tunnel near a door to a Navigation Room and roll through it to the Energy Part.
Sector 3 No items are needed Samus must travel to a room with a huge pool of magma nearby to the Floor Observation Room. She must roll through a tunnel near one of the exits, leading to the Energy Part.
Sector 3 No items are needed Samus must roll through the right tunnel when faced with a choice of two tunnels on her way to a volcano.
Sector 3 Grapple Beam Samus must head to a room that is filled with lava and is otherwise impossible to navigate through without the Grapple Beam and swing across the corridor with the Grapple Beam. At the other end, she must roll through a tunnel to the Energy Part.
Sector 3 Samus must travel to the right of the most prominent elevator of the sector and open a door with her Super Missiles. She must then enter the room and activate a terminal, revealing a Grapple Point and unsealing a hatch. Samus must then swing across, granting access to the Energy Part.
