First Lieutenant W. Smythe was the Squad Leader of either Force One or Force Two of the GFMC Task Force Herakles Squad Bravo. Smythe sat alone on the G.F.S. Tyr. Smythe's cause of death is never discovered, but one assumption is that he was killed by the Dark Splinters along with several other members of Squad Bravo.
