New features[edit | edit source]

Controls[edit | edit source]

Metroid Prime Remastered features four control options: a modern dual-analog option, one based on the control setup from the original Nintendo GameCube version, one based on the control setup from the Wii version, and a hybrid setup that combines elements of the GameCube and Wii setups.

Difficulty options[edit | edit source]

A Casual difficulty mode, which reduces the amount of damage taken, was introduced.
