Lowercase research station

I'm slapping this on here just to note that the game and manual both call it the B.S.L research station with a lowercase research station. Not sure why not just name the thing, but it's lowercase r and s so we have to use that in articles. Also pointing out that it's B.S.L not B.S.L. with only two periods. Why?
