Plasma Beam Split

I'm down to split this between the Prime Plasma Beam and the Zero Mission/Fusion Plasma Beam. I would say the same about the Wave Beam, but I won't bother to ask on that talk page since it will be the same as here. I don't really know about the names, I suggested those names only because the piercing Plasma Beam appears in a lot of games. Maybe we can do "Plasma Beam (Metroid Prime)" and "Plasma Beam (Super Metroid)" for their earliest appearance, or maybe their latest game. That's a concise idea for the name. I just think that if they named it the Lava Beam it would be its own article. And if there was, say the Pierce Beam with the same function as the Plasma Beam then they would be merged. I don't think just because they have the same name means that they're the same thing, though Retro was clearly inspired by Super Metroids' choice in beams. --Malake256 ^{{Talk | Contribs}} 21:53, 17 July 2013 (UTC)

I think Plasma Beam (Metroid Prime series) may work better as a title seeing as the heat variant of the weapon wasn't just in MP1. MK 21:57, 17 July 2013 (UTC)

I guess I should say that I don't have an opinion because I don't have enough knowledge on the subject. But definitely, if they are pretty much entirely different except for the name, I say go ahead and split it. And yeah, I forgot it was in Corruption too.
