Rezbit Virus Glitch

So, I'm playing through Prime 2, and I enter the Watch Station like you normally would (assuming you aren't a hardcore sequence breaker). I'm fighting the two Rezbits in the room, but since I usually use charged Dark Beam + Missiles to deal with the Rezbits, I have a hard time hitting them across a giant chasm. One of them managed to beam a virus into my suit. Of course, this knocked me off the platform I was on, so I don't think I had to reboot my suit. I managed to kill the Rezbits (I think I wound up spamming Super Missiles :D), and I was proceeding as you normally would; unlock the Portal, grab the goodies, etc. There was one slight hitch with that, unfortunately; my Morph Ball mode completely glitched out. Boost Ball and Spider Ball were fully operational, as was Spring Ball (Trilogy version =P), but Morph Ball Bombs and Power Bombs were completely inactive. They just wouldn't work. I changed my Wii remote batteries, and even checked my inventory to make sure I didn't have a corrupted save file, but everything seemed normal. I wound up travelling back to Main Gyro Chamber and saving my game there, then resetting the Wii and rebooting. This fixed all the errors up through game completion. This might have happened to me a while back but I'm not 100% sure, I'll try to verify it next time I play Echoes. MK 15:56, 10 October 2011 (UTC)

Actually, it's mentioned here, under "Rezbit Virus glitch" as well (I forgot to mention it the first post), but that was in the NTSC version, suggesting something fundamental with the Rezbit programming. I think it has something to do with the game "disabling" parts of Samus' suit until she is finished rebooting, and either the cliff fall or just a problem with the reboot not activating the suit features.
