Telekinetic Barrier

Telekinetic Barriers are unique Blast Shields that seem to be created by Luminoth psionic energy.[1] As all other living Luminoth are in stasis whenever these barriers are encountered, it is likely that they are created solely by U-Mos.
Telekinetic Barriers block Samus's path whenever she attempts to leave a region of Aether while the Light of Aether is contained in her Energy Transfer Module without returning that energy to its rightful Energy Controller. Until she returns to the proper Temple and infuses the planetary energy there, she is restricted to the region of Aether it belongs to.[2] These barriers also appear if Samus attempts to move through the Great Temple without first speaking to U-Mos to receive direction.
Telekinetic Barriers give off unique mental signatures that indicate they're of Luminoth origin. The ability to fabricate these barriers mentally is just another indication of the advanced psionic developments in the species.
