Usage[edit source]

To use this template copy the following and fill in the appropriate information. All fields are optional, though the ones that should be filled just about every time are Image, Caption, Games, and either habitat or location. The title displayed by adding name=name as seen in Metroid Prime (specimen).

  • Image: An Image of the enemy, most infoboxes should have these
  • Caption: A caption for the enemy, used with images
  • Games: All games the enemy appears in. If the creature appears in only one game, use "game=" rather than "games="
  • Appearances: All out-of-game appearances. If the creature appears out-of-game in more than one media, use "appearances=" rather than "appearance="
  • Mainspecies: The most basic, original, or mimicked form of the creature
  • Damage: Any method the creature has to damage Samus, if applicable
  • Weaknesses: Any particular weaknesses a creature has, do not list "Power Beam" or anything similar if the creature has no weaknesses. If the creature has more than one one weakness, use "weaknesses=" rather than "weakness="
  • Immunities: Any attack the creature is immune to
  • Vulnerableareas: Any vulnerabilities (e.g. neck, mouth, shoulder), if it is vulnerable in more than one area, use "vulnerableareas=" rather than "vulnerablearea="
  • Rewards: Any Reward given for defeating the creature
  • Habitats: Any area where wildlife creatures reside. If the creature has only one known habitat, use "habitat=" rather than "habitats="
  • Location: Any location where non-wildlife creatures or unnaturally present creatures reside (e.g. Space Pirates in Tallon IV)
  • Threat: The threat level of the creature. The three main entries for this section are either "Hostile", "Damaging, Non-hostile", and "Non-damaging, Non-hostile". This, of course, depends on the hostility of the creatures and their capabilities to damage Samus. Hostile creatures purposely attack Samus, like Beetles, while non-hostile creatures generally damage Samus unintentionally or as a defensive measure, like Zoomers.
  • Name: The infobox's header can be changed with the hidden parameter "name=[name]" the [name] replaces the header
