Template:Sprite table
From Metroid Wiki
Usage[edit source]
This very complicated template is used to display in one neat table any sprites the creature or object has. It can be confusing, but the result is an appealing table.
Below is what a complete, blank table appears as:
There are three basic parameters and many variations on those parameters in this templates.
Header[edit source]
- Header: ( header , header2 , header3 , header4 ) - Activates additional headers, useful for different type of sprites. The first header automatically takes the page's name and uses it as the header, so header does not always have to be called. In practice, Red Zoomer sprites and Yellow Zoomer sprites would be used like so:
{{sprite table |header=Red Zoomer |header2=Yellow Zoomer
Sprite Input[edit source]
- Sprite Coordinate: ( m1 , m1 2 , m1 3, m1 4 , m2 , m2 2 , m2 3 , m2 4 , sm , sm 2 , sm 3 , sm 4 , fu , fu 2 , fu 3 , fu 4 , zm , zm 2 , zm 3 , zm4 ) - This is where the actual sprite file goes. Much like an infobox, the full file name and link goes here. Any caption necessary, though rarely needed, should be placed underneath the sprite in question using line break (<br />) tags. Nothing should be inputed for cells in which there is no such sprite, revealing two hyphens (--), if there are sprites but are not uploaded on the wiki, input the cell but leave its contents blank (e.g. m1 2= ). Input should be done as such:
{{sprite table |header=Red Zoomer |zm=[[File:Red Zoomer zm Sprite.gif|Red Zoomer]] }}
Cell Roundness[edit source]
- Cell Roundness: ( bottomright ) this parameter forces the cell entered to have a round bottom right border. It should be used on the bottom-rightmost cell. For example, if the cell "zm 2" is the bottom-right most cell, the following would be entered:
{{sprite table |bottomright=zm 2 }}
This would cause the cell "zm 2" to have a round bottom right border
