I am Alex95, previous staff member of other NIWA wikis. I joined the Metroid Wiki on July 20th, 2015.
The Metroid series was one of the first Nintendo series I was introduced to, with Metroid II: Return of Samus being my first. Like most other people, I first thought the main character was a guy, but that Samus was the bad guy due to the ominous title, heh. I later played many other Metroid games, with Metroid Prime / Metroid Prime Remastered being my favorite so far, and they help inspire exploration for my own games.
