Logbook

You should look at any random page with a logbook, I think you'll like what you see :] It looks so much better now. I'll get the remaining lore templates looking like that, but color will change eventually. Category changes

Malake and I have been discussing some categorization changes and we've made a lot more progress than the last time we were discussing it. This is his most recent proposal and I'd really like your opinion on it.

The naming of the categories has changed too, instead of say "Creatures Native to Tallon IV", we've decided to use "Chozo Ruins Wildlife" which in itself will be placed in "Tallon IV Wildlife". This will avoid any potentially erroneous implications about a creature being native to somewhere. There's a few more changes that may be made to it that I haven't listed here but this covers the gist of it. MK 21:46, 21 July 2011 (UTC)

Hey, I need to inform you all of something

I was looking around the site earlier and found that someone named TROLOLOL messed up a lot of pages. I went in a redid them, but I don't know if you all do anything when someone vandalizes dozen of pages. You can see all revisions I fixed on my contributions page, but also, here's a link to a Screenshot that has them all from his contributions page. Thanks for helping with that Puddle Spore page yours looks better then my version. I have a question, in the future when I do a page and you complete it , can you leave what I did? Its ok if you dont but I've got a feeling that anything I do is erased and replaced by another person...I just want to help. Aw! I never want you to feel like your contributions are just "erased"! Every contribution made to the wiki is important, and if it wasn't for you I might not have ever gotten around to making that article; just getting the ball rolling is an important step! If you look over the revision, you'll notice that your infobox and opening line are still there. I changed the image because we had a higher resolution image already uploaded (it was hiding in the unused files), and in the opening line I changed "creature" to "mollusk" (for specificity) and "Magmoor's Lava ponds and lakes" to "the scathing lava pools of Magmoor Caverns" (so that we could link to Magmoor Caverns by name, and also because there's a room called "Lava Lakes" and I thought that might confuse some people). The rest is just additional information. So as you can see, all your original information is still there and was the foundation for that page! Wikis are all about improving on each other, so if you see a line you think should be changed or if you have information to add, I hope you won't hesitate to edit my work as well!! =) —Embyr 75  ^--Talk-- 22:37, 24 January 2012 (UTC)

Absolutely! First, add a Logbook header (by adding ==Logbook==), and then use the Logbook Template. It's similar in function to an infobox, which you already know how to use! Did you that this wiki is almost done with the Enemies of Metroid Prime! I think it was because of me because things got done faster around here! AS you said I got the ball rolling with them but know Im starting to COMPLETE projects on my own. Well, Ill be back on tommorow morning I guess or maybe not. Some Possable Last Questions

Those translations use the Foreignname-header and Foreignname templates. But if you don't have a working knowledge of the language, it's probably best not to use those. I get the Japanese names from a Japanese website and translate them myself. As always, if you want to see how to the template is used feel free to check the explanations on the pages. Thanks for bringing that to my attention. I'll start trimming it down next week (I'm putting references on hold until that's done). I mainly just wanted to get something down (that and I found it harder to summarize Fusion than Other M, since the former's much more plot-intensive...I'll see if I can use the Other M section as a model). Hi there! Promoting someone to administrator is up to the current body of admins/bureaucrats. It isn't something you can request, per se. If you do good work, edit smartly, are active, and interact well with other users, it will be noticed, and you'll be promoted accordingly. Essentially, your work speaks for itself in this case. If you prove you're admin quality, you'll eventually get there. Because this wiki is young, sometimes the staff will put out a call for needed positions.
