Yellow Blast Shields, also commonly called a "Yellow Hatch" are a type of Blast Shield that were introduced in Metroid Prime 2: Echoes and returned in Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. They have a yellow coloration and can only be removed with a Power Bomb.
