The Dark Visor' is the first Visor upgrade in Metroid Prime 2: Echoes. It is obtained after defeating the Chykka in Dark Torvus. It is Echoes version of the X-Ray Visor and functions the same. It is used to find hidden platforms, enemies, and activation methods with a dark presence. It is very useful in fighting Dark Pirate Commandos and is needed to see Dark Samus in the second fight with her in the Sanctuary Fortress.
