Norfair is a stage in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. The stage consists of a large cavern of magma, with five platforms suspended in a V shape. The center platform is larger than the other ones. During the battle, magma will rises and move as obstacles. Sometimes it will just rise, sometimes there will be blasts from the background. Of note is when a large bubble of magma comes from the right or left. On rare occasions, a wave will appear in the background, forcing the combatants to hide in a safe zone that resembles the doors from the original Metroid.
