Hey! This Nathan, owner of the wiki. I saw your request for sysop on Mel's talk page. I obviously can't just promote anyone without first talking to them, though I understand you are from SMW. Feel free to contact me on Skype at Nathanial.Rumphol.Janc, on msn at nate_janc@hotmail.com, or on aim with natejanc as my user. I am more than willing to promote people worthy of the position, especially starting out... I just want to meet you first. Nathanial Rumphol-Janc 01:43, 28 January 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]

"This section is to boost search ratings"

No offense, but that's possibly one of the worst things you could possibly do for the wiki. Google has ways of catching that, and they will lower your search ratings. I would suggest getting rid of it._Neo(U) (T) (C)(Home) 04:29, 11 March 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Yeah, that ain't staying there. Our search ratings will be earned through the proper means, and mass spam linking to ourseles isn't good. It's gone now. -Melchizedek  talk 05:19, 11 March 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Heh... silly Axiomist. Garlic Man 05:25, 11 March 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Actually, the links were all 'rel="nofollow"' (MediaWiki automatically sets all external links up like this), so chances are good that Google wasn't even noticing them. 2257(t) 22:06, 12 March 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]

User Talk Page Content

Okay, I don't know how things happen at Mario Wiki, but here, conversations aren't just deleted off talk pages. Whether it's your talk page or not. Conversations should be kept for reference purposes, and when the talk page becomes too long it is archived, not deleted. I needed to refer back to this the other day, and it was gone. Furthermore in the future, others may do the same thing, and so this is good to refer them to, to show that it has happened. Help:Archiving is there if you need help with this. -Melchizedek  talk 21:24, 12 March 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]
