The Agon Energy Controller is a room from Metroid Prime 2: Echoes. It is located in the Agon Wastes region of Aether.
The room is relatively small and houses the regional Energy Controller for Agon Wastes. It contains the dead body of I-Sha, who served as the last Sentinel of the Temple before the Ing came to steal Agon's Light of Aether using the Energy Transfer Module. He had been laying there for 1.5 decacycles before Samus' arrival. It also contains a Luminoth Holoprojector that allows Samus' to receive a message from I-Sha.
Upon scanning I-Sha's Holoprojector, he rises and tells the tale of Agon. His message explains that the stolen energy has been taken to the Temple in Dark Agon Wastes, Agon's twisted mockery. It is locked by 3 Dark Temple Keys strewn about the dark land. Additionally, he informs Samus that the air of Dark Aether is toxic and can cripple even the mightiest of warriors. In conclusion, he updates Samus' Translator Module, allowing her to interpret Amber holograms.
After defeating Amorbis, Samus retakes Agon's portion of the Light of Aether and returns to the Agon Temple. When entering the Energy Controller's housing, a cutscene plays, showing Samus injecting the energy. Immediately, the system reacts, improving weather conditions from stormy skies with lightning and clouds to clear and sunshine. A ray of light then gets refracted through a lens, focusing the light into a laser and traveling all the way back to the Main Energy Controller, where U-Mos witnesses its light.
After Samus restores the Light of Aether to the Agon, Torvus, and Sanctuary Temples, and talks to U-Mos, she can access Aether's Light-Based Teleportation System and instantly teleport among the four Energy Controllers using the Light Suit.
