The Aqua Zebesian is found in Metroid Fusion. They are X Parasite-infected Zebesians that have merged with an X-infected Skultera; this mutation replaces the Zebesian's legs with a caudal fin and adds a dorsal fin to its back. They are found only in Sector 4 after Samus gets the Gravity Suit from Nightmare. Aqua Zebesians are faster and more mobile underwater than regular Zebesians and attack Samus by firing short, red projectiles, which are not affected by the water like the regular Zebesian's.
