The only sentient Chozo Statue in Prime was a statue of a Chozo Elder encountered in the Hall of the Elders. If Samus rested in the palms of the statue while in Morph Ball form, it would cast her forwards through different tracks which could be manipulated by Bomb Slots to reach new areas and items.

Interestingly, the first time Samus encounters this statue, a Chozo Ghost attacks and the eyes of the statue flame. During subsequent attacks by Chozo Ghosts, the eyes will not flame, but Samus will be unable to rest in its hands.
