It is obtained after defeating both of the [[Chykka]] forms in Dark [[Torvus Bog|Torvus]]. It is the game's version of the [[Thermal Visor]] from its predecessor, [[Metroid Prime]], and functions similarly to it. The Dark Visor will highlight any enemy or special object in red. It is used to find hidden platforms, enemies, and activation methods with a [[Dark Aether|trans dimensional flux]] presence. It is very useful in fighting [[Dark Pirate Commando]]s and is needed to see [[Dark Samus]] in the second fight with her in the [[Sanctuary Fortress]]. It also allows the wearer to target [[Warrior Ing|Ing]] in their amorphous state.
