Ice Beam

The Ice Beam is one of Samus Aran's beam weapons, which has appeared in every Metroid game except Metroid Prime 2: Echoes, Metroid Prime Hunters and Metroid Prime 3: Corruption.
It fires a potent beam that has the ability to freeze most enemies. When frozen, certain enemies can be shattered using Missiles. The Ice Beam is commonly used to combat Metroids by eploiting their weakness to low temperatures.
