| The '''Lumigek''' is a small gecko like creature found only in the second room of the [[Impact Crater]]. Lumigeks are completely dependent on [[Phazon]]; they use it for both defense and their food. Lumigeks have transparent skin, and their internal organs can be seen clearly through their skin. Lumigeks have two large eyes and a long tail. They are the only species that can survive exposure to [[Orange Phazon]], so it is likely that they lay their eggs and raise their young in it. Lumigeks travel in huge swarms from one hundred to five hundred in the smaller swarms to five thousand to twenty-five thousand in the largest.<ref>
