Metroid (species)

Metroids are jellyfish-like creatures that consistently appear in the Metroid series, and serve a major role in many of the games as minor enemies and antagonists to Samus Aran.
In Metroid Prime 1, 2, and 3, Metroids latch onto Samus's helmet to attack.
