Omega Research: Difference between revisions

The '''Omega Research''' is a room in the [[Phazon Mines]]. It connects the [[Ventilation Shaft (Phazon Mines)|Ventilation Shaft]], the [[Map Station Mines]], and the [[Dynamo Access (Phazon Mines)|Dynamo Access]] by [[Ice Beam|White Doors]]. The room is divided into two levels. Samus first enters on the top level, which consists of two opposite ledges with a suspended platform between them. One ledge has an alcove with the door to the Ventilation Shaft, while the other has the door to the Map Station Mines blocked by [[Bendezium]] rubble that can be destroyed with a [[Power Bomb]]. Two [[Wave Trooper]]s will attack [[Samus Aran|Samus]] as she comes into the open on this level, one on the platform, one on the side. The lower level has three [[Power Trooper]]s in the open. This level has two [[Elite Pirate]]s in stasis pods. A small side room blocked by a force field leads up to the second level. This room has another Elite Pirate in a pod. The force field can be deactivated from either side by [[Scan Visor|scanning]] a terminal. When Samus returns to this room for the second time, the Elite Pirate in the side room will break through the force field and attack Samus. The other two Elite Pirates may randomly attack on later visits for a one-time battle.
