Sector 2 (Cryosphere) is a sector aboard the Bottle Ship used to engineer creatures that live in extreme cold. This area consists of many icy areas along with mechanical rooms used to monitor the creatures. Samus Aran comes here on Adam's orders. While Samus comes to the sector on various occasions, she is authorized to use the Speed Booster and the Wave Beam. The entrance to Sector Zero is also located here, as is the frozen corpse of Galactic Federation 07th Platoon member Maurice Favreau.
