Sector 2 (TRO) is the second sector in the [[Biologic Space Laboratories Research Station]]. This sector is a tropical climate (hence the abbreviation TRO for tropical) and it features a large variety of creatures. It is also the largest area in the BSL Reserch Station.

[[Samus Aran|Samus]] first visits TRO in order to download the data for the [[Morph Ball Bomb|Bombs]]. Shortly after they are acquired, she battles [[Zazabi]] and acquires the [[Hi-Jump Boots]] allowing her to leave the sector.

Samus later visits TRO while investigating the source of the roots that were cutting off power to the station. There, she is attacked by an [[SA-X]] and forced to flee. After defeating [[Nettori]], the source of the roots, Samus acquires the [[Plasma Beam]].

there is a hidden recharge room in the tall vine-infested shaft that Samus Aran passes through on her way to Nettori. When the vines are clear, head into this shaft, and at the top will be two doors; one on the left, and one on the right. Go to the right side, drop down into the gap between the doors, and land on a ledge. Roll into the morph ball and move right. Samus will pass into the secret recharge room.
