Power bombs are a variation of the Morph Ball Bomb. They appear in some of the Prime games and Super Metroid. The power bomb (in Super Metroid) cause a blast that covers the whole screen, and are needed to get to Mairida. In the Prime games, they have a larger blast radius, are capable of clearing away blockades made of Bendezium on Tallon IV and Denzium on Aether, and are needed to open power bomb doors.
