==Grapple Beam Glitch==

|effect=Causes Samus to have her arm extended with the sound of the Grapple Beam playing without it active. If you lock onto an enemy, it will appear as though the Grapple Beam is connected to the enemy.
|prerequisites=Be in Vault Attack Portal in the Ing Hive and have the Grapple Beam.
|perform=Grapple to a Grapple Point. When the beam has connected but before you start swinging, walk backwards into an active portal.
|notes=This can be performed in both the GameCube and Wii versions of the game. This glitch cancels if an elevator is taken out of Sanctuary or if the Grapple Beam is used on a Grapple Point. The glitch will also stop when the game is shut off or reset.

==Floating Jump==

|effect=Allows you to jump much higher than normal and stay in the air for a longer period of time.
|prerequisites=Have the three Dark Temple Keys for Dark Torvus Bog.
|perform=Destroy the fourth structure holding up Chykka's cocoon while in the dark water, a cutscene will begin shortly afterward. When it is over, you will be on the platform and be capable of jumping much higher than normal.
|notes=This cannot be used to skip Chykka as the platform will not lower if the room is left nor can the Dark Visor be obtained. If any form of water is touched, the jump height will return to normal. While it will not reset if a Portal is used, if an elevator is taken out of Torvus Bog, the jump height will reset to normal.

==101% Glitch==

|effect=Allows the player to collect the [[Missile Launcher]] twice.
|prerequisites=To be in the area before collecting the launcher, and not have activated the cutscene.
|perform=Use a rock formation that looks like a boot to move over the platform without activating the cutscene. Collect the Launcher, then activate the cutscene. After, the Launcher will be there again. Both count for percentage, allowing the player to get a 101% item collection rate.
|notes=If every [[Missile Expansion]] is acquired, the missile count will not go up for the last one acquired. This glitch can also be used to skip the collection of one pickup while still maintaining the 100% collection rate. You will need to target something with the scan visor to do it in the Wii version.

==Windchamber Oddity==

|prerequisites=Access to Grand Windchamber.
|perform=Using the [[Screw Attack]], jump into the pit without hitting anything.
|notes=While the respawn sound does play, [[Samus Aran|Samus]] will not grunt or take damage at all. This may be the only room in the game where this happens.

==Data Network Entry Glitch==

|effect=Makes the inventory/logbook screen show entries about items the player does not yet possess, or scans about things the player has yet to scan.
|prerequisites=Depends on the entry you want, but the fewer entries you have, the better.
|perform=Pause the game and select the inventory or the logbook. Choose some categories until you reach one where the contents inside lead to a data network entry, instead of another category. Then, very quickly mash the A button. Depending on the category, your luck, and if the console has recently read that entry from the disc, it's possible that you will open an inventory item entry or logbook entry before the game has time to load the entries you possess. This leads to the game loading a default entry for that category, which you may not yet have. An example would be to highlight the Beam Combo category on the inventory and mash the A button; if it's successful, the Sunburst option will show up without you having it. Other examples include the Power Bomb Expansion, Dark Visor, Light Suit, Infant Metroid and Caretaker Class Drone.
|notes=Because this glitch abuses the console's loading speed, it will not work every time. In addition, entries that have been recently read are stored in a cache, or are still warm on the RAM. To force the game to re-load the items, so that that gives you enough time to open an invalid entry, try quitting the pause screen, scanning some things around you, loading some rooms, and maybe opening some other entries, and trying the glitch again. This glitch also works on the Wii version.

==Empty Description Page==

|effect=Displays a blank page on an item description on the pause screen.
|prerequisites=Obtain the first [[Torvus]] Temple Key, after the [[Boost Guardian]] fight.
|perform=Simply open the Dark Torvus Temple Key 1 entry on the inventory. It will contain 2 pages with information about the key, but will oddly also contain an empty, third page.
|notes=Despite the simplicity of correcting this glitch, it was not fixed in the Wii/Trilogy Versions of the game.
