I've updated the site to [https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/MediaWiki_1.21 Mediawiki 1.21.2], the latest stable release. I think the only notable feature is that clicking the patrol link uses ajax, instead of reloading the whole page. I haven't tested it, so it may not work in this skin. This version also changed some of the heading levels for the static menus on the site, so until the cache clears, it will look a bit odd.
